The Forge Gallery + Studios program is a resource for advocacy in Nashville's ever-growing arts community.

A combination of gallery and studio space, our residency program offers six studio scholarships on a yearly basis, each of which includes private work space and one solo exhibition in the gallery, at no cost to the artists.

funded by partners from the Nashville community, the forge Gallery + Studios program is the city’s first of its kind.

residencies typically follow the fiscal year, running FROM JULY 1st TO JUNE 30th of the following year.

the forge residency program will be on pause from the second half of 2026 through the beginning of 2027, to accommodate a mid-year location change. our projected schedule for the next round is as follows:

OPening of applications: january 15TH, 2027

deadline of applications: april 1st, 2027

NOTIFICATIONS SENT BY: MAY 15TH, 2027

acceptance needed by: June 1st, 2027

STUDIO MOVE-IN: JULY 1ST, 2027
