Impress your friends and family with a beautiful full leather fashion accessory that YOU made! In this challenging beginner level class, you will handmake a saddle style leather handbag. Leather designer Vicky “Boogie” Rocco will guide you through tools, techniques, types of leather, lacing applications and more. You will be pleasantly surprised by how approachable it is to execute a gorgeous and functional leather bag. This is a great class for crafters who want to get into leatherworking and are up for a challenge. No prior experience with leather necessary.
Vicky “Boogie” Rocco is a technically trained fashion designer from New York, specializing in leather guitar straps, accessories, garments and the restoration of leather goods. Her work has always been inspired by music and rockstars, making Nashville the perfect place to call her home. Since 2011, Boogie has been creating custom leather goods with her brand Electric Warrior. She is excited to apply her over 20 years of experience to educating and mentoring others with interest in leather design.
